Come and check out the show as the Friends of the Norman Williams Public Library (NWPL) hold their 4th Annual Puppies & Pooches on Parade fundraiser on Saturday, Aug. 25, on the Woodstock Village Green.
A pooches’ parade around the Green will begin promptly at 10:30 a.m. and will be followed by a six-category ring show plus a Best in Show class. The Woodstock Recreation Center will host a Doggy Pool Party after the show.
Last year, thanks to its fundraising work, members’ dues, and community donations, the Friends of NWPL were able to purchase a new BOSE sound system, a Yamaha keyboard package, new Children’s Room decorating, and maintenance of the Library’s gardens and windows. The funds also provided financing for staff-member attendance at the Library Conference and a donation to the NWPL Ex-Libris Gala.
