Work is coming along steadily on Central Street in Woodstock Village with the U.S. Route 4 Bridge 51 project, with demolition of the deck over the conduits and the north sidewalk being torn apart, according to the Agency of Transportation.
Crews have begun demolition activities on the north side bridge deck and sidewalk. Expect intermittent periods of alternating one-way traffic.
The Post Office and retail shops on the north side will now require pedestrians to travel around the work site using the south sidewalk. Flaggers are present to assist individuals crossing to the southern access and through the work zone.
