A winter storm warning is in effect from 8 a.m. Wednesday to 1 a.m. on Thursday for Windsor County, Vermont, according to the National Weather Service.
Expect heavy snow with accumulations from 8 to 12 inches. There will difficult travel conditions on Wednesday especially between noon and 7 p.m. Snowfall rates of 1-2 inches per hour will result in near zero visibility and make travel more difficult.
