The Bridgewater Fire Department held its annual celebration with games, a barbecue and fireworks to end the night.
The annual outdoor barbecue held at Cloudland Farm in Pomfret took place on Friday, August 25 with food, wagon rides and live music.
Dogs were invited to swim during the last open day of the Woodstock Rec Center pool this summer.
Former Woodstock Resident and a member of the PGA Keegan Bradley, came to Woodstock to host a charity golf tournament. The event was held at the Woodstock Country Club on Monday, August 28.
The annual fundraiser for the Friends of the Norman Williams Public Library in Woodstock was held on the Green. The Puppies and Pooches on Parade event invited participants to show off their dogs.
The annual Quechee Highland Games were held at the Quechee polo fields on Saturday, with at variety of events portraying the Scottish heritage.
On Sunday the Woodstock History Center hosted an Excursion to “Rum Street”, a 1.25 mile self-guided hike into Vondell Reservoir. The area known as Rum Street is where Charles M. Cobb grew up and wrote extensively in his diaries about farm life as a teenager in Vermont in the 1800s.
The students of the Woodstock Elementary School gathered for the first day of school on Wednesday, August 30, 2017.
